ClinicCompass was started with a simple mission: help people find the right clinic for the right treatment by giving them genuinely good information about the treatments themselves — what they do, what they cost, and what to expect — and a clean way to compare real clinics that offer them.
And at the same time, help clinics get found more easily. The best aesthetic providers often have the smallest marketing budgets. John Blackwood, Founder
John Blackwood is the founder of ClinicCompass. He comes from a medical family and a finance background in wealth management and credit analysis, and built ClinicCompass after seeing how hard it was for people to get straight answers about aesthetic treatment pricing and provider quality. He leads the directory's research: aggregating real Google ratings, verifying which treatments each clinic actually offers, and publishing honest cost data.

Dr. Victoria Taraska, MD, FRCPC, is a board-certified dermatologist with over 25 years of experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Manitoba, completed internal medicine training there, and finished her dermatology residency at the University of Ottawa. She is an active member of the Canadian Dermatology Association and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Taraska reviews ClinicCompass treatment content for medical accuracy.
