An Albuquerque Facelift can dramatically enhance the overall appearance of the face, giving it a youthful look by removing excess skin and fat. It is very effective in eliminating the jowls and some wrinkles of the mid- and lower-face.
Some people do not need full facelift, however. In particular, people who have no significant fatty excess but moderate skin laxity.
It is important to remember that tip swelling after rhinoplasty can last over a year, and it is often the last thing to subside.
There is usually not significant pain after rhinoplasty surgery but some ache and bruising are expected. Pain medication and antibiotics are prescribed after the procedure, and most patients are placed in tape and a splint for a week.
Breast augmentation surgery improves the size, shape, and firmness of the breasts through the placement of implants filled with silicone gel or saline (saltwater solution).
If there is excess skin before surgery, or if your surgeon believes liposuction will leave you with excess skin, they may recommend doing a tummy tuck at the same time. This requires a low incision on the abdomen to remove the excess skin and produce a flatter result.
Liposuction can be performed under intravenous sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the individual patient and the area of surgery.
With liposuction, a metal tube is inserted under the skin and used to suction out fat and tissue, resulting in a slimmer and more toned appearance.
A very important fact to keep in mind is that there will be more skin laxity after liposuction. If the resulting laxity is judged to be excessive, skin tightening will need to be performed, as in abdominoplasty , facelift or brachioplasty .
Usually three issues need to be addressed in gynecomastia correction. The first is the firm glandular tissue behind the nipples. This is often directly excised precisely via a lower areolar (nipple) incision.

Verify three things yourself, whichever practice you choose: certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or Royal College certification (FRCSC) in Canada; whether the operating facility is accredited or the surgeon holds hospital privileges for your exact procedure; and how many of that operation they perform each year. Our guide to choosing a plastic surgeon covers how to check each one.
