Jawline and neck liposuction for double chin removal is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia. Dr. Maia makes small, discreet incisions beneath the chin or behind the ears, through which a thin cannula is inserted to gently suction out the excess fat.
- Neck liposuction: good skin laxity candidates
Good candidates for neck liposuction are those who still have good skin laxity on the neck. Liposuction only removes fat under the skin, it does not remove excess skin or tighten the neck.
- Lip lift: small incision at base of nose
A lip lift can reduce the space between the upper lip and nose while expanding the pink portion of the upper lip. A small incision can be made (usually at the base of the nose) to access the skin and tissue of the upper lip.
