In their words

Barrett Plastic SurgeryA breast lift primarily addresses sagging breasts and does not add or remove significant volume. It is very common, however, to combine a breast lift with other procedures such as breast augmentation with implants, fat transfer to breasts, or reduction
Dr. Catherine Chang | Privé Beverly Hillswhile a breast lift can improve the shape and position of the breasts, it will not significantly increase breast size. Patients who desire fuller breasts may consider combining a breast lift with breast augmentation using implants.
Rady Rahban, MDWhen performing breast lift surgery in Beverly Hills , Dr. Rady Rahban often performs it in conjunction with breast enlargement surgery ( breast augmentation ).
Michael Omidi, MD FACSA breast augmentation serves to enlarge your breasts and create a fuller profile by utilizing implants, while a breast lift restores the shape and volume of your breasts without implants

Michael Omidi, MD FACSThe incision is made around the perimeter of the areola, extending vertically down to the breast crease and horizontally along the breast crease. This traditional technique is commonly employed for a breast lift in Los Angeles performed together with a breast reduction
FAQ

Breast Lift in Beverly Hills: common questions

How much does Breast Lift cost in Beverly Hills?

Breast Lift generally runs $7,000–$14,000 per procedure, and each Beverly Hills clinic sets its own price. The biggest variables are the provider's experience level and the specific device or product used. Newer technology and senior injectors price at the upper end. Pricing is quoted in US dollars (USD). Request a consultation from any of our listed Beverly Hills clinics for a personalized quote.

When will I see results from Breast Lift?

Initial results in 2–4 weeks, with full results developing over 3 months as collagen builds. Beverly Hills providers typically schedule follow-ups to track progress.

How long do Breast Lift results last?

Results vary by patient, but most Beverly Hills providers report 6–18 months of sustained benefit from a full Breast Lift series.

Do I need a lift, implants, or both?

The simplest test is where your nipple sits relative to the fold beneath your breast. If it sits at or below that fold, a lift is what repositions it, and implants alone will not fix that. If your breasts sit high enough but have lost fullness at the top, implants restore that volume. Many patients want both, which is a combined augmentation with mastopexy, a longer operation with a slightly higher revision rate but a single recovery.

What are the scars like?

Scars depend on how much lifting is needed. A minor lift may need only a scar around the areola. Moderate lifting adds a vertical line from the areola to the fold, called a lollipop. Significant lifting adds a horizontal scar along the fold, called an anchor. Scars are permanent, red for several months, and typically fade to pale lines over one to two years. Any surgeon offering a significant lift with no scars is describing something else.

How long does a lift last?

Most patients hold results for ten years or more, but skin continues aging and gravity does not stop. Weight fluctuation and subsequent pregnancy are the two things that most reliably undo a lift, which is why surgeons generally advise finishing childbearing first. Wearing good support and maintaining stable weight extends the result meaningfully.

Will I be able to breastfeed afterward?

Many patients can, though a lift carries somewhat more risk to milk ducts and nipple sensation than augmentation does, because the nipple is repositioned. If future breastfeeding matters to you, say so clearly at consultation, since technique choices can preserve more of the ductal system. And if you plan to have children soon, waiting is generally the better decision anyway.

Is it covered by insurance?

Almost never as a cosmetic lift. Breast reduction, which removes tissue as well as lifting, is sometimes covered when documented neck, back, or shoulder symptoms meet a carrier's criteria. If you have both sagging and significant volume causing physical symptoms, ask the surgeon's office to explore reduction coverage rather than assuming the whole thing is out of pocket.
