Performing the facelift procedure under local anesthesia allows for these results with a very quick recovery.
- Buccal fat removal: outpatient, local anesthesia, about an hour
Buccal fat removal is performed on an outpatient basis using local anesthesia. Your procedure will usually take about an hour. An incision will be created on the inside of each cheek near the back of your oral cavity by the second upper molar.
