Platinum Plastic SurgeryTumescent Liposuction, typically performed on patients who need only local anesthesia, usually takes significantly longer than traditional Liposuction (sometimes as long as 4 to 5 hours).

LipoSculp VegasChin lipo is a quick and minimally invasive procedure, often completed in under an hour. Using local anesthesia and small incisions means less downtime and discomfort than more invasive surgical options.
Platinum Plastic SurgeryMany of our patients choose to combine their Labiaplasty with other feminine makeovers such as breast augmentation, liposuction, or tummy tucks.
Richards Cosmetic SurgeryLiposuction surgery is typically performed on an outpatient basis under IV sedation, general anesthesia, or with a local anesthetic.
Dr. Stile Plastic SurgeryOften performed under local anesthesia with sedation, chin lipo in Las Vegas offers subtle, sculpted results that bring harmony to the lower face.
Amate Cosmetic SurgeryLiposuction uses a probe that transmits ultrasound energy that breaks up the fat in a gentle manner. The surrounding tissues remain intact because it doesn’t require the cannula to break down the fat
Carl N. Williams, Jr. M.D. Hand and Plastic SurgeryMany patients tend to think that along with a reduction of fat, severe skin laxity will also improve; however, liposuction will not tighten loose skin beyond a certain point and may require additional body contouring with Thermi250 for a comprehensive package. For optimal results, Dr. Williams may perform a neck lift in combination with a facelift or liposuction, which ensures that your rejuvenation is comprehensive; however, a neck lift can also be performed as a stand-alone procedure.
Smith Plastic SurgeryDr. Lane Smith , who holds 4 separate board-certifications in plastic surgery, will discuss with you the type of liposuction in Vegas procedure best suited for your current body status and goals.Typically, a mommy makeover combines a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty,) liposuction , and a breast procedure.
Herte Center For Cosmetic SurgeryLiposuction at the Herte Center for Cosmetic Surgery is a safe and highly effective figure-sculpting experience that may also boost your self-confidence.
Desert Hills Plastic Surgery CenterLiposuction can also be used in smaller or more detailed areas, such as the upper back, flanks, buttocks, upper arms, medial knees, and the lower face and neck.
FAQ

Liposuction in Las Vegas: common questions

How much does Liposuction cost in Las Vegas?

Liposuction generally runs $3,500–$11,000 per treatment area, and each Las Vegas clinic sets its own price. The biggest variables are the provider's experience level and the specific device or product used. Newer technology and senior injectors price at the upper end. Pricing is quoted in US dollars (USD). Request a consultation from any of our listed Las Vegas clinics for a personalized quote.

When will I see results from Liposuction?

Initial results in 2–4 weeks, with full results developing over 3 months as collagen builds. Las Vegas providers typically schedule follow-ups to track progress.

Can I wear makeup after Liposuction?

Most patients wait 24 hours before applying makeup to avoid irritation on freshly-treated skin.

How much does liposuction cost?

Pricing works per treatment area, and most patients treat more than one. A single small area such as the chin or upper arms typically runs $3,500 to $6,000. Larger areas like the abdomen or flanks run $5,000 to $11,000. Treating several areas together costs less per area than doing them separately because anesthesia and facility time are shared. Always confirm whether a quote includes anesthesia, the facility, compression garments, and follow-up visits, because exclusions are where quotes diverge.

Is liposuction a weight-loss procedure?

No, and this is the single most important misunderstanding about it. Surgeons typically remove a limited volume of fat for safety reasons, which is a few pounds rather than a dress size of body weight. Liposuction reshapes contour in people already near their target weight. If your goal is significant weight loss, medical weight management or bariatric surgery is the appropriate path, and liposuction afterward can address what remains.

Will the fat come back?

The fat cells removed are gone permanently and do not regenerate. However, the fat cells remaining elsewhere in your body can still enlarge if you gain weight, which means the shape you gain into may be different from before. Patients who maintain a stable weight keep their result essentially indefinitely.

How is it different from CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting freezes fat cells non-invasively and eliminates roughly 20 to 25 percent of the fat in a treated area per session, with no downtime, over two to three months. Liposuction physically removes a far greater proportion in one operation, with anesthesia, incisions, and real recovery. If your pocket is small and you want to avoid surgery, CoolSculpting is reasonable. If you want a decisive change to contour, liposuction is what actually delivers it.

What about loose skin afterward?

This is the question that determines whether liposuction alone is right for you. Liposuction removes fat but does not tighten skin. In patients with good elasticity the skin retracts well. In patients with significant laxity, particularly after major weight loss or pregnancy, removing the underlying fat can leave the skin looser than before. Those patients often need a skin-removal procedure such as a tummy tuck instead of, or alongside, liposuction. An honest surgeon will tell you this at consultation.
