When planning for breast augmentation surgery, patients must consider placement and size of their breast implants.
Dr. Lintner reviews possible complications with all of his breast augmentation patients prior to surgery. If appropriate, Dr. Lintner can also discuss the possibility of combining your breast surgery with a tummy tuck or liposuction .
Tummy tuck and mini tummy tuck surgery are typically performed under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis.
Ideal tummy tuck candidates should be in good overall health and close to their desired weight.
Performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia using nitrous oxide, liposuction is frequently done as an outpatient procedure, although certain cases require an overnight stay in the hospital for monitoring.
In a typical liposuction procedure, a small cannula is inserted into targeted regions of the body through very small incisions. The cannula is attached to a suction device, enabling it to carefully and strategically remove localized pockets of fat.
Dr. Lintner can perform facelift surgery in-office using local anesthesia or at a hospital using general or IV sedation, based on patient needs and preferences. Incisions are blended into the hairlines for optimal discretion.
Eyelid surgery may involve either general anesthesia or local anesthesia combined with a sedative. Incisions are typically made along the lower lash line and/or along the natural creases of the upper lids to ensure any scarring is virtually undetectable.
