Silicone or saline?

What are the real risks?
The most common is capsular contracture, where scar tissue tightens around the implant and firms or distorts the breast, which affects a meaningful minority of patients and may require revision surgery. Others include rupture, changes in nipple sensation that are sometimes permanent, rippling, and asymmetry. There is also a rare lymphoma called BIA-ALCL associated primarily with textured implants, which is why textured implants have largely left the US market. Will I be able to breastfeed afterward?
