Dr. Tabbal practices in Frisco, Texas, serving patients from Plano, Prosper, McKinney, Allen, and throughout the greater Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. His practice centers on aesthetic breast surgery — including breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, and breast revision — along with body contouring such as the mommy makeover, tummy tuck, and liposuction, and facial rejuvenation with facelift and neck lift surgery. His approach is thoughtful, candid, and never pressured. Dr. Tabbal believes a plastic surgeon should serve as a trusted guide rather than a salesperson, and should be equally willing to recommend surgery, a nonsurgical option, or no procedure at all.

Three things, and none of them are a technique. First, I do the consultation. In many high-volume practices a coordinator or nurse runs the detailed visit and the surgeon appears at the end. Here, I take your history, examine you, and build the plan with you myself. That matters because the plan is where most of the result is decided; the operation is the execution. Second, you will hear the honest version. My goal is not to find the right operation for you but the right plan of care, which sometimes means a smaller procedure, a nonsurgical option, or waiting. Candidacy is about whether your tissue, your health, and your expectations line up with what an operation can predictably deliver, not about how much either of us wants it. I would rather you leave a little disappointed and well-informed than excited and surprised later. Third, the care does not stop when the operation does. Surgery takes place in accredited hospitals and surgery centers in Frisco and Plano with board-certified anesthesiologists. For larger operations such as tummy tuck and facelift, a private-duty nurse stays with you one-on-one for the first 24 hours [CONFIRM scope]. And I see you at every follow-up visit personally, from the first day through the one-year mark [CONFIRM]. Underneath all of that is the training: a six-year plastic surgery residency at UT Southwestern, a cosmetic fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, two years teaching residents at UT Southwestern, and board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Those facts are on my CV. What I think sets the practice apart is how they get used: one surgeon, one plan, and a straight answer.
You meet me, not a video of me. The visit happens at my office at 8501 Wade Blvd., Suite 1485, in Frisco, and runs about 60 minutes. However, if the consultation needs to be longer, than we take the time needed for it to do so. The consult starts with a conversation. I want to know what bothers you, what you have already tried, and what a good result would look like to you. I also go through your medical history, medications, prior surgeries, and plans for pregnancy or weight change, because those change what is safe and what will last. Then I examine you. This is the part that cannot be done from photographs. How much the breast has settled, how much skin has lost its elasticity, how much breast tissue is actually there, how strong the nasal tip is: these are the things that decide which operation fits you, and two patients asking for the same procedure often need two different ones. After the exam I explain what I recommend and why. Not just the name of the procedure, but the anatomic reason behind it, what it will realistically do, what it will not do, and the trade-offs, including the scars. If I think you are not a candidate, or would be better served by waiting or doing something smaller, I will say so and explain why. Before you leave, my team reviews pricing, scheduling, and the recovery timeline so you have the full picture in one visit. You do not owe me a decision that day. Take the information home, bring a friend or family member if that helps, and come back with questions; there are always more the next morning. The consultation worked if you can explain the plan back in your own words, whether or not we ever operate. To schedule, request a consultation online or call (214) 618-3006.

Verify three things yourself, whichever practice you choose: certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or Royal College certification (FRCSC) in Canada; whether the operating facility is accredited or the surgeon holds hospital privileges for your exact procedure; and how many of that operation they perform each year. Our guide to choosing a plastic surgeon covers how to check each one.
