Aesthetic treatments in Georgetown

Scott County's own injector market: eight tracked clinics from North Broadway to Versailles and Cynthiana, six of them at a flat 5.0.

See 8 clinics
North Broadway (downtown Georgetown)Lexington Road / Magnolia DriveParis Pike / Cherry Blossom WayVersailles (Main Street)

Georgetown no longer sends every aesthetics patient down I-75 to Lexington. Five of the eight tracked clinics are inside the city: ERA Wellness Spa on North Broadway downtown, Solace Aesthetics on Gilbert Avenue a few blocks away, Bluegrass Medical Aesthetics on Magnolia Drive off Lexington Road, Lolia Aesthetics on Finley Drive, and Marshall Lifestyle Medicine on Marketplace Circle near the Cherry Blossom Way interchange. The other three sit in the small towns on either side of Scott County: Mind & Body MedSpa on Main Street in Versailles, and Ink and Glow Aesthetics and Onyx Wellness in Cynthiana, a 25-minute drive northeast on US 62. The two Lexington clinics that turned up in this search, 4esthetics Lounge and Be Medispa, are on our Lexington page.

Botox, dermal fillers, lip filler and cheek filler are on all eight menus. ERA Wellness Spa carries the widest toxin shelf, the one tracked listing with Daxxify and Jeuveau alongside Dysport, which Mind & Body and Solace also list. Mind & Body is the one Xeomin and Kybella menu, and Solace the one Radiesse listing. No tracked clinic here lists Sculptra or PDO threads, so a biostimulator or thread consultation still means the Hamburg and Harrodsburg Road practices in Lexington.

Devices cover the county well for a market this size. Morpheus8 and laser hair removal are on every menu, BBL photofacial, laser skin resurfacing and skin tightening on six. Body contouring is a single-address category: Mind & Body in Versailles is the only tracked listing for CoolSculpting and Emsculpt Neo. Wellness is broad, which fits a town where Toyota’s plant sets the work schedule: four menus carry hormone replacement therapy, Marshall Lifestyle Medicine, a concierge practice, adds peptide therapy, and Ink and Glow is the one microblading listing.

This is a value market, and the numbers say so plainly. Botox quotes $10 to 12 per unit here against $11 to 13 in Lexington and $12 to 14 in Louisville, so a 40-unit visit on North Broadway runs $40 to 80 less than the same dose in Hamburg. Filler is $550 to 700 per syringe, and a three-session Morpheus8 package $1,800 to 2,300. The Versailles and Cynthiana clinics sit at the bottom of those ranges and the downtown Georgetown studios in the middle.

Evening books matter more than Saturdays here. Five of eight open Saturdays, but every one closes by 3: ERA, Bluegrass and Solace at 2, Mind & Body at 1, Lolia at 3. Weeknights run later. Ink and Glow stays to 8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Bluegrass to 7 Tuesday through Thursday, Lolia to 7 Mondays and Thursdays, Mind & Body to 7 Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Three clinics close Mondays entirely: Bluegrass, Mind & Body and Marshall. The season follows the horses. Books fill in late March before the Keeneland spring meet and again in September before the fall meet and the Festival of the Horse, and laser series start in November. Patients come from Stamping Ground, Sadieville and Midway, from Frankfort to the west, from Paris and Cynthiana to the east, and up from north Lexington.

The eight average 4.97 across 1,931 reviews, and six hold a flat 5.0, led by ERA Wellness Spa at 529 and Lolia Aesthetics at 483. Marshall Lifestyle Medicine is the one physician-led option, a concierge medical practice with an aesthetics arm; the rest of the list is nurse-injector studios, which is where the depth is. Select two or three below and ClinicCompass will deliver your consultation request to each clinic.

FAQ

Common questions about med spas in Georgetown

Is going to a med spa safe?

Yes, when you pick the right one. Med spas with physician oversight (an MD or DO medical director) and treatments performed by licensed RNs, NPs, PAs, or physicians have a strong safety record. The biggest safety risks come from undertrained operators using aggressive settings, off-brand products, or skipping proper screening. In Georgetown, all clinics listed on ClinicCompass include verified Google ratings. Read the review themes (look for consistent mentions of cleanliness, professionalism, and clear communication) before booking.

What should I expect at my first med spa appointment?

Most first visits start with a 20–45 minute consultation (no actual treatment yet). The provider will ask about your goals, medical history, medications, and budget; they'll examine the relevant area and recommend specific treatments. You should leave with a written plan, clear pricing, and realistic expectations of results. If you feel rushed, pressured to commit on the spot, or upsold on treatments you didn't ask about, that's a red flag. Walk away and consult elsewhere.

What's the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Both are botulinum toxin type A: same active mechanism, slightly different formulations. Dysport tends to onset 1–2 days faster and may spread slightly more (useful for broad areas like the forehead). Botox is more localized (useful for precise areas like around the eyes). Duration is similar (3–4 months for both). Per-unit pricing differs but the per-treatment cost is comparable. The biggest factor in your results is your injector's skill, not the brand.

How do I know if a med spa is using real products?

Three checks: (1) Real Allergan, Galderma, AbbVie, or Revance products come in branded packaging. Your provider should be willing to show you the vial or box before injecting. (2) Pricing well below market is the biggest red flag: counterfeit or smuggled product is dramatically cheaper. (3) Loyalty program enrollment (Allē for Allergan products, ASPIRE for Galderma) requires the clinic to be a verified buyer of real product. If a Georgetown clinic offers Allē or ASPIRE rewards, it's selling authentic product.

What questions should I ask at a med spa consultation?

Bring these: (1) What exactly will you use (specific product, device, settings)? (2) How many of these treatments have you personally done in the past year? (3) What results can I realistically expect, and what can't I expect? (4) What are the risks, and what's your plan if something goes wrong? (5) Can I see before-and-after photos of YOUR work on someone with my concern? (6) What's the total cost, all-in? (7) What happens if I'm not happy with my results? Honest providers welcome these questions; defensive ones are a red flag.

What's the difference between Botox and fillers?

Different treatments for different problems. Botox is a neurotoxin that relaxes the muscles causing expression wrinkles (forehead lines, frown lines, crow's feet). It doesn't add volume. Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra) add volume to soft tissue, replacing what aging has depleted in cheeks, jawline, lips, smile lines. Most patients over 35 use BOTH: Botox for the upper face, fillers for the lower face. A consultation will tell you which is right for your specific concerns.
