Professional tattoos usually require 8-15+ treatments while amateur tattoos require only 4+ treatments.
Dr. Peace and the medical team at Irradiance Medical Group Dermatology are highly skilled in laser tattoo removal and make sure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. However, you may experience a sensation similar to rubber bands snapping on your skin.
Injections of BOTOX® and fillers may cause some discomfort similar to that of a medical injection. Ice packs applied to the skin prior to injection can help minimize discomfort. Mild swelling and redness may occur after treatment, but will soon resolve.
Routine use of BOTOX® and cosmetic fillers can help patients enjoy many of the same benefits of a “mini” facelift, but without the risks associated with facelift surgery.
After mole removal, Dr. Peace may apply a topical medication to reduce bleeding. She then bandages the area and reviews how to clean and care for it. If Dr. Peace suspects atypical or precancerous cell growth, she may send the mole to a lab for a complete biopsy.

Check two things first: whether your insurance plan needs a referral from your primary care doctor, and whether this practice is in your network. Cosmetic visits are paid out of pocket and need no referral. For a cosmetic treatment, ask who will perform it and how often they do it. For a skin check, a changing mole, a rash or anything that is bleeding or not healing, contact the practice directly and say what you have noticed.
