About Gita Makkar, PA-C
She is a New Jersey Certified Physician Assistant
Dr. Rapaport has been a practicing dermatologist since 1981.
The effects of Botox typically become noticeable within a few days, with full results appearing in about two weeks.
The effects of Botox for frown lines typically last for several months.
Jeffrey Rapaport, MD uses Dysport to treat patients for: crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead lines, excessive sweating and perioral wrinkles.
The entire treatment takes only about 20 minutes. Dr. Rapaport will apply a topical numbing agent to ensure a painless therapy and inject the necessary amount of XEOMIN into the facial muscles responsible for development of frown lines.
PRP does not work for all types of hair loss. It is important that patients are correctly evaluated by Dr. Rapaport who is a hair expert prior to commencing therapy to determine if they are candidates.
The patient will be able to see the results of JUVÉDERM treatment immediately; he or she will be able to tell if an additional injection is needed (generally, one initial treatment is all that is necessary).

Check two things first: whether your insurance plan needs a referral from your primary care doctor, and whether this practice is in your network. Cosmetic visits are paid out of pocket and need no referral. For a cosmetic treatment, ask who will perform it and how often they do it. For a skin check, a changing mole, a rash or anything that is bleeding or not healing, contact the practice directly and say what you have noticed.
