Credentials and oversight stated

  • Board-certified dermatologist (as stated)Led by board-certified dermatologist Brooks A. Bahr, MD, FAAD, MBA

How they describe their treatments

  • Botox: frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feetBotox is a quick, effective, and minimally invasive treatment that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to smooth dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet.
  • Botox: no numbing, tiniest needles, slight stingBotox injections are done without any anesthesia or numbing because it hurts just a tiny bit. You will notice a slight sting, but because Dr. Bahr uses the tiniest needles to do the injections, you will be comfortable.
  • Juvéderm: lips, cheeks, temples, handsJuvéderm is an injectable filler composed of hyaluronic acid that is approved by the FDA. It is quite versatile and can be used to correct wrinkles and lines, or restore volume in many places in your skin, including the lips, cheeks, temples, and even the hands.
  • Chemical peel: warmth five to 10 minutes, may stingDuring a chemical peel, most patients feel warmth or heat that may last about five to 10 minutes. Your skin then may sting. A deeper peel can be more painful, and you may need a numbing medicine during the procedure and pain medicine after.
  • Chemical peel: combined with laser, fillers, botulinumDermatologists may enhance the results of a chemical peel with laser or light-based techniques. Or, they may combine it with another procedure, such as dermal (soft tissue) fillers or botulinum injections (shots).
  • Microneedling: numbing cream applied beforehandMicroneedling is typically performed in-office. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to keep you comfortable during the procedure.

Before you book here

Check two things first: whether your insurance plan needs a referral from your primary care doctor, and whether this practice is in your network. Cosmetic visits are paid out of pocket and need no referral. For a cosmetic treatment, ask who will perform it and how often they do it. For a skin check, a changing mole, a rash or anything that is bleeding or not healing, contact the practice directly and say what you have noticed.
