Most people get 3–4 months of results from a typical dose. The newer Daxxify can last up to 6 months for some patients. Results don't stop abruptly — they gradually fade, which is why most people schedule the next appointment around the 3-month mark.

The injections themselves take seconds and feel like a tiny pinch. Many providers use a very fine needle and a numbing technique. Mild redness or pinprick marks fade within an hour.

Botox has been FDA-approved for cosmetic use for over two decades and is one of the most studied injectables in medicine. Safety depends heavily on injector skill — choose a board-certified physician, PA, NP, or RN with extensive injection experience.
