Most adult men and women are good candidates for Daxxify treatment. Pregnant women are not encouraged to use Daxxify until they have finished nursing.
The Daxxify injections are then placed directly into the targeted muscles. Patients typically find the procedure to be quite tolerable and topical anesthetic is available for patients concerned about their comfort level during treatment.
Daxxify is a new injectable neuromodulator that was recently approved by the FDA. This addition to the neuromodulator family is made of peptides that offer unprecedented longevity with results lasting an average of 2-5 months longer than other products on the market.
While neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport help soften deep wrinkles, the ideal time for prevention is to start treatment when fine lines first appear.
Dysport is oftentimes used in combination with dermal fillers to provide optimal anti-aging results.
Most of the dermal fillers we offer at our New York offices last between 6-18 months, although some may last even longer. Sculptra can last up to two years once the results are fully apparent.
